At 19:07 on Sunday, 3 May, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Persons Trapped In Machine in Church Stretton.
3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Church Stretton and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Attending crews used the following equipment:
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .
A 77 year old male who had become trapped below the knee by a tractor, has been released and is now in the care of Ambulance Personnel. Fire crews assisted in the rescue by using airbags to take the weight of the tractor.
