1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police and Shropshire Council.

Incident involves lorry which had come to rest in building. Crews assisted with vehicle removal.

RTC HGV Persons Trapped

Millichope Craven Arms

At 08:33 on Friday, 25 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Craven Arms.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Church Stretton, Craven Arms and Much Wenlock.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service , the Police and Shropshire Council.

One HGV and one hatchback car involved in a collision. Crews assisted in releasing one casualty from the HGV using holmatro gear, cutters, spreaders and small gear. Casualties in care of ambulance crews and Police in also in attendance.

Fuel Leak/Spillage Large

At 17:13 on Wednesday, 26 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Fuel Leak/Spillage Large.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Environment Agency, the Police, Shropshire Council and a utility company.

Crews were assisted by our neighboring brigade Hereford and Worcester Fire with a large Kerosene spillage. Crews used environmental equipment to absorb and contain the spillage.

  • Hosereel jet
  • Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: Shropshire Council.

This incident involved one saloon vehicle completely destroyed by fire. Crews used two hose reel jets, breathing apparatus and thermal imaging camera.

Fuel leak from vehicle. Fuel absorbed using environmental grab packs and environment pod utilised.
