At 19:35 on Sunday, 11 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Incident involved small fire in engine compartment and under belly of motor home. Crews used 1 hosereel jet to extinguish and used thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.

At 18:58 on Sunday, 11 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Minsterley, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks
• Thermal imaging camera

Wildfire in field involving approximately 15 acres of crops which were destroyed by fire. A fire break has been created and crews are damping down perimeter and checking for hot spots. 3 Incident Support Units attended this incident as well for better access and to utilize fogging units. Farmer onsite using machinery to assist crews.

1 large conifer involved in fire. Crews used a hosereel jet to extinguish and drag rakes to deal with debris. Thermal imaging camera used to check hot spots.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Telford Central. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Incident involving fire which had spread to a shed and two garages as well as fence panels. Crews used 3 hose reel jets and one covering jet whilst wearing breathing apparatus. Crews have dampened down area and dragging out debris.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Small kitchen fire. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet to extinguish fire.
