At 22:38 on Thursday, 2 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Bridgnorth.

3 fire appliances including the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

One stand alone barn which was fully alight. Crews extinguished fire and dampened down surrounding area.

6 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Albrighton, Newport, Telford, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Fire involving ground floor kitchen of public house. Six breathing apparatus, two main jets, three hose reel jets and two positive pressure ventilation fans in use.

Fire involving gorse and braken measuring approximately 20 meters squared which was extinguished using two hose reel jets. Thermal imaging camera used to check for any remaining hot spots.
