At 20:46 on Thursday, 18 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire.

6 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Craven Arms and Much Wenlock. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

Barn fire involving machinery and timber, crews extinguished using 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, a thermal imaging camera, 1 covering jet laid out and positive pressure ventilation

Small fire in kitchen which was out on arrival of crews. Crews have used positive pressure ventilation due to slight smoke logging within property.

This incident involved a fire in the electrical intake cupboard. All persons evacuated prior to the attendance of crews. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, dry powder extinguisher, thermal image camera and ventilated the premises.
