At 18:48 on Saturday, 19 December, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Blakemore, Brookside .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire in domestic 2 storey semi detached property, fire in first floor bedroom. Two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one main jet and PPV fan in use.

Small quantity of wood that had fallen from log burning stove and caused heavy smoke logging to property. The wood had stopped burning prior to arrival of crews. Crews used positive pressure ventilation (PPV) to clear the smoke.
