- Hosereel jet
Tractor fire, also affecting overhead power lines, crews withdrawn until power isolated, then used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets

At 10:11 on Friday, 26 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Hazardous Substances in Ellesmere.
3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Ellesmere and Oswestry. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.
Attending crews used the following equipment:
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .
Leak of ammonia from refrigeration unit - fire service crews wearing full protective clothing and breathing apparatus used positive pressure ventilation fans to disperse the leak. Seven members of staff were treated by ambulance personnel for inhalation of fumes

- Short extension ladder
- Thermal imaging camera
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.
Fire involving 1st floor of 2 storey brick built house. Fire now out. Ventilation in progress.

5 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Oswestry and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

- Hosereel jet
- Main jet
- Short extension ladder
Fire involving approximately 250 bales of hay alight in a barn. Three hose reel jets, 1 main jet, 2 breathing apparatus and 2 short extension ladders in use. Crews are making good progress dragging out and damping down with assistance of farmers plant and machinery.
