Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

This incident involved a fire in the Rayburn. Crews were assisted at this incident by Mid and West Wales Fire Service.

Reports of smoke in the area - Crews attended to find a large unattended bonfire. Bonfire was dampened down by crews and the bonfire size was reduced. Police attended for traffic control due to smoke over the carriageway.

At 13:15 on Monday, 9 March, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Breathing Apparatus (BA)
  • Covering jet
  • Hosereel jet

Incident involved fire in kitchen of bungalow. One female had left the property prior to arrival of fire service and was checked by ambulance crew. Police and ambulance were in attendance. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet, 4 breathing apparatus, 1 covering jet and ventilated property.
