At 18:06 on Wednesday, 27 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wheathill, Bridgnorth .

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved a fire in the roof of a 3 floor property. Two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one covering jet used to extinguish fire.
