I am writing to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:

How many road vehicles (both fire engines and fast response cars) did the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service operate, as of 31 December 2019? If possible, please give separate figures for the basic types of vehicle. If not, please give an overall figure.

How many road accidents (crashes, scrapes and other damage) did all these vehicles incur during 2019?

What was the value of the damage from all these accidents (in repairs, insurance claims and value of written-off vehicles)?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please could you list the fire engines in your service, specifying the year, make, model and how much they cost to procure.

In the case of lease vehichles please indicate the total cost for comparison, once all the payments are made.

The phrase "fire engines" is meant as a common sense term to denote all pumps, pump ladders, aerial platforms and fire rescue units etc.

If this information is already in the public domain, please indicate where we can find it.

I have been wondering for some time why you chose the distinctive current livery for your appliances instead of the traditional battenburg livery, also who came up with the design? I think the livery on your appliances is brilliant and makes Shropshire Appliances stand out.
