At 18:06 on Tuesday, 28 May, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet, Prees and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

One SUV vehicle fully involved in fire. Crews using four breathing apparatus, foam, and two hose reel jets to extinguish.

Hatchback car 50% destroyed by fire. Crews used 2 hose reel jets, 2 breathing apparatus, thermal image camera and small gear.
