3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Hosereel jet
  • Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Crews called to a HGV fire in a layby of the A5, this was a small fire involving exhaust system and mud guards caused by a defective turbo. 1 hose reel jet in use, 1 thermal imaging camera to monitor temperature.
