At 19:20 on Sunday, 12 October, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Wellington.
3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Hosereel jet
- Thermal imaging camera
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.
Crews called to a HGV fire in a layby of the A5, this was a small fire involving exhaust system and mud guards caused by a defective turbo. 1 hose reel jet in use, 1 thermal imaging camera to monitor temperature.
