At 10:32 on Tuesday, 22 March, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chemical Incident.
4 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton and Tweedale. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Environment Agency and the Police.
RTC involving one tractor and trailer. Approximately 6000 litres of liquid fertiliser leaked from the trailer onto roadway. Crews assisting with the clean up/ removal of remaining fertiliser.
