At 14:45 on Friday, 1 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Chemical Incident in Telford.

4 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Report of small nitric acid spill - 2 males being treated at scene by Ambulance for burns
