Field fire, approximately 300SQm of stubble involved in fire. Beaters and 1 hose reel in use.

1 fire appliance was mobilised.
Approximately 20 x 30 metres of baled hay alight in field. Hay is being allowed to burn away as its in the centre of a field with no risk of spreading. Crews will standby and monitor but no other Fire Service action has been taken

5 fire appliances including the Landrover Pump were mobilised from Baschurch, Shrewsbury, Wem and Whitchurch. Operations, Hazmat and Safety officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Beaters
- Hosereel jet
10 acre field of cut and baled straw 100% alight 1 further field of 5 acres also alight. 6 hose reel jets in use
