Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service is opening its doors at Tweedale Fire Station to show the public what it takes to be an on-call firefighter.
The taster day will take place on Saturday 24th February. The event is open to everyone and is a great opportunity to get a tase of what life as an on-call firefighter is like.
The session will include:
- Opportunities to try our fitness tests
- A tour of the appliance bays and appliances
- A demo from the crew
- A question and answer session with the crew
- A presentation on becoming an on call firefighter
