Fire Service says thank you to local employers

During the recent Community Safety Open Day at Cleobury Mortimer Fire Station, local employers who release their staff to attend emergency calls during the working day were awarded certificates and plaques from Assistant Chief Officer Louise Mckenzie. The presentation was our way of saying thank you to these local employers.

Without the help of these community minded employers, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service would find it difficult to provide a 24/7 emergency service for the community of Cleobury Mortimer.

The presentation was witnessed by a large number of local people who had attended the open day. Following the presentation members of the public and the local employers were treated to a display by the firefighters from Cleobury Mortimer, who showed their skills in road traffic collision procedures.
