Police officers in Telford are investigating following a suspected arson incident in Dawley.
The incident occurred at an address on Lancaster Avenue early on Saturday 15th September.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 1.50am and two appliances from Tweedale and Telford Central attended the property.
Initial investigation work appears to suggest the fire was started deliberately and therefore police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in Lancaster Avenue late on Friday night or early on Saturday morning, or anyone who believes they may know why this property was targeted.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with this incident but he has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
