Police investigating a farm fire near Bridgnorth which caused around £350,000 damage, today issued an appeal for information.
A large Dutch farm and seven items of farm machinery were severely damaged in the blaze at Cranmere Farm, Worfield.
It's believed the fire was deliberately started between 10.45pm on Sunday (Jan 1) and 1.30am the following day.
Police Constable Catherine Rapson, the investigating officer, said today: "It's strongly suspected this is an arson attack and I am appealing for any information which might help identity those responsible.
"I would urge anyone with information to contact me at Bridgnorth police station on the 101 non-emergency number.
"Details can also be given to the anonymous independent Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111, for which a reward may be paid."
PC Rapson said damage to the contents of the barn alone amounted to around £250,000.
Among the items damaged were two tractors, a potato harvester, combine harvester, a potato grader, plough, corn drill, 100 tonnes of baled straw, 20 tonnes of fertiliser and two tonnes of seed.
