Police officers in Telford are investigating following a suspicious fire in Donnington. The incident occurred on Ash Lea Drive on Wednesday 1st December.
At just after 11pm a member of the public called the police to report they'd heard a loud bang outside their property and that when they'd looked out of the window they could see a car on fire.
Police immediately attended the scene along with the fire service and on arrival in the communal parking area they discovered a VW Scirocco that was alight. The fire was dealt with very quickly but the car suffered extensive damage as a result of this fire.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw who started this fire, or who may know why this vehicle was targeted.
