The competition scenario they faced was a building fire situation, during which they had to put out fires and rescue people inside within a 30-minute time limit.
The event is judged on how well the incident commander, entry control operative, pump operator and the team itself handle the situation with special awards given to the best individuals in each role.
After the competition, all teams were ranked as gold, silver, or bronze based on how they did and both Shropshire teams placed in the top gold category.
Additionally, FF Harriet Davies was awarded for her outstanding performance as the Entry Control Operator.
