Retained firefighters at Bridgnorth station have raised over £3200 washing cars and vehicles in memory of Cameron Brown. The event took place on Saturday 14 June 2008 and all the proceeds will be donated to Asthma UK.
The fire crew and staff from the local Barclays Bank washed over 200 cars, 2 motor homes and a lorry on the day; but the highlight had to be when a gentleman turned up with his Aston Martin DB9.

Customers donate to Asthma UK in memory of Cameron
Ashley Brown, a retained firefighter stationed at Bridgnorth will be fund-raising and raising awareness for Asthma UK, in memory of his son Cameron.
Cameron had a fatal Asthma attack aged two in February this year.
Ashley will be doing a series of walks and challenges throughout the year.
In July Ashley will be joined by a team of Firefighters from Bridgnorth, who will be taking the Three Peaks Challenge. The aim of this event is to climb Ben Nevis, Scarfel and Snowdon in a period of 24 hours, which includes the travelling time between the three mountains.
