Police are appealing for information after a car was set alight deliberately as it was parked in a Telford street.
The incident happened at an address in Arleston Avenue, Arleston at around 12.25am today (Wednesday 8 August).
The vehicle had been parked on the road, outside the owner's property.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the fire.
Police are treating the incident as arson and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
Following initial investigations police are treating the fire as suspicious and we are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
They want to hear from anyone who may have seen any persons acting suspiciously in the vicinity of the vehicle during the last few days, in particular in the early hours of today.
