Hodnet firefighters added a real touch of class when they staged a charity car wash at the fire station on Saturday (26 Sept).
A 1935 Bentley originally owned by Graham Campbell, who broke land and water speed records in the 1920s 30s, was carefully washed by the Hodnet crew.
The beautiful Bentley’s current owner, local man, Peter Hodson, kindly donated £50 – a big boost to the £350 total the car wash raised for the Fire Fighters’ Charity and the Hodnet Scout and Guide Group.
