People are being urged to be extra vigilant during the firefighters’ four day strike in Shropshire which starts at 6pm on Friday.(October 31)

On Saturday 20 September firefighters at Hodnet held a really successful car wash in aid of the Firefighters Charity.

A total of £250.00 was raised between 12 noon - 4.00pm with a lot of soap suds used, and hard work shown by firefighters on station. We washed in excess of 25 cars.  We increased our total raised yet again, and thank the local community for their continued support.
