At 11:08 on Wednesday, 15 June, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Animal Rescue in Bridgnorth.
6 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit, the Rescue Tender and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Cow stuck in reservoir rescued by fire service personnel using lines. Some undergrowth was cleared to enable a ramp to be made and with the help of a 4x4 loader the cow was pulled to safety. Vet in attendance examined cow after rescue.

1 male casualty released from vehicle by Fire Service personnel using holmatro cutting equipment. Casualty left in care of Ambulance Service.

RTC involving 1 saloon vehicle on roof. No persons trapped. 1 casualty being attended to by ambulance personnel. Fire Service personnel using lighting and stabilisation to make vehicle safe.

One 1 year old Shirehorse released from entrapment in a 15 foot deep well using animal rescue lifting equipment and Manitou. Light portable pump also in use to remove water from well.
