One tree fallen onto the cab of an HGV. No persons trapped. Crews have removed the tree using a reciprocating saw and the Hi-Ab crane on the Rescue Tender vehicle.

9 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Ellesmere, Oswestry, Shrewsbury, Tweedale, Wellington and Whitchurch. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.
Reports of train on fire at Gobowen Railway Station. Alarm activated in middle carriage of 3 carriages. All passengers were evacuated by rail staff and fire service. Thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots. No casualties
