At 20:50 on Saturday, 13 June, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newington, Craven Arms .
2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Church Stretton, Craven Arms and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
This incident involved one vehicle in collision with property, nobody trapped. Crews assisting police to make vehicle safe.

20 yearling Calves have been rescued by Fire crews from a slurry pit using strops and lines. They are all safe, and now in a holding pen in the care of the farmer.

This incident involved a vehicle which had left the carriageway. Occupants self extricated the vehicle prior to the arrival of crews. Incident left with the Police.

Reports of a horse with its foot trapped in the horse box. Crews attended, along with a vet and made the scene safe for the transfer of the horse. No other action by Fire Service

This incident involved a two vehicle RTC where three casualties were trapped. Casualties released from vehicles using holmatro cutting equipment and now in care of ambulance service.

One HGV carrying nitrogen and sulphur has jack-knifed and is wedged between two residential houses, no persons trapped.
