At 17:19 on Thursday, 24 June, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Baschurch, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 2 vehicles in head on collision. On arrival there were no persons trapped but two casualties received first aid from Fire Service personnel while awaiting arrival of Ambulance Service. Both vehicles were made safe by Fire crews.

Reports of one person trapped under car. One female casualty released from under car using air bags, casualty now in care of ambulance service.

RTC involving 1 4x4 vehicle and 1 van. No persons trapped. Tirfor winch used to move van in precarious position to a safer place.

This is a double garage containing 1 x ca, 1 x motorhome and gas cylinders that is fully involved in fire.
