Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police and a utility company.

Incident involved one 11,000 volt mains electricity cable exploding in an underground pit under the footpath. Both the Gas and Electricity board are in attendance to deal with the problem.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

From 16:50 to 19:50 Fire Control received a high volume of calls to the Albrighton area, crews dealt with numerous incidents including flooding affecting electrics and rescuing people trapped in flood water.
