1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley.

1 wooden shed 2m x 3m involved in fire approximately 10% fire damaged. 2 x propane cylinders and 2 x calor gas cylinders involved, cylinders removed to safe area for cooling.

4 fire appliances including the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Craven Arms, Minsterley and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Main jet

Barn Fire involving approximately 80 tonnes of straw alight. 2 main jets in use.

Controlled burning out of control involving approximately 50 tonnes of recycled plastic. 1 hose reel jet and 2 breathing apparatus in use.

At 22:57 on Wednesday, 31 December, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shrewsbury.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Minsterley, Shrewsbury and Wellington.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 1 vehicle that has left the road. One female casualty extricated by Fire Service Personnel using small tools and Holmatro cutting equipment.
