At 18:50 on Monday, 24 July, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bales Of Straw Large in Bridgnorth.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving large bailer 4 acres of stubble and 30 tonne baled straw 4 Hose Reel Jets Beaters and fogging system were used to extinguish the fire

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 1 vehicle in collision with domestic property. No structural damage to property and no persons trapped. Crews made vehicle safe

B4368 between Weston and Monkhopton, Bridgnorth

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a doctor and the Land Ambulance Service .

RTC involving one tractor and trailer with 30 tonne straw. Trailer overturned on junction blocking dual carriageway. No casualties.
