At 05:20 on Thursday, 9 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Nr Welshpool.
2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.
One vehicle in collision with pole and located down steep bank. Casualty self-extricated and crews used short extension ladder to assist driver from bank.

This incident was a false alarm with good intent. Thorough inspection of property carried out by crews using a thermal imaging camera and a short extension ladder. Smell caused by build up of dust within heater.

Small fire on flat roof at rear of property. Crews used one hosereel jet to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera used to check for hot spots.

Grain dryer with 15 tonnes of grain involved in fire. Section has been removed with assistance of farmer with hotspots detected from thermal imaging camera. Crew have dampened down area and continued to monitor hotspots.
