At 20:30 on Wednesday, 13 March, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.
5 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wem. Operations, Fire Investigation, Safety and Principal officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Covering jet
- Hosereel jet
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police and a utility company.
Fire involving kitchen in commercial building. Nearby properties evacuated and all persons accounted for. Crews used 12 breathing apparatus, 4 hose reel jets and 2 covering jets to extinguish fire.

- Thermal imaging camera
Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.
Fire involving electrical fuseboard and boiler. Fire was out on arrival. Crews carried out a full inspection of the property using a thermal imaging camera and isolated the water, gas and electrics.
