6 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire control received a call to a gentleman adrift on the river in a boat suffering engine failure, the gentleman was able to get back to the marina without the assistance of fire service personnel

False alarm good intent, alarm raised following a member of the public seeing an overturned boat on the river. Inspection carried out by Fire Service personnel, nothing found, no further action required.

The boat and associated crew have been mobilised to assist Mid and West Wales with a van that has become stuck in 3feet of flood water - please direct all enquiries to them as this is their incident and in their area.
