Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service are proud to support Business Safety Week which runs from the 5th until the 11th September, 2016.
The key objective of the week is to highlight the help and support available to businesses from their local fire and rescue service.
The aim is to reduce the number of enforcement notices delivered to businesses and encourage them to make fire safety an every day part of working life so employees can respond safely and appropriately in the event of an incident.
The campaign week will publicise and support the ongoing work of business safety practitioners throughout the Fire and Rescue Service.
We will ask businesses to:
- Work with us to ensure their premises are safe and that they update assessments and procedures in reponse to changes in the business
- Help us reduce the number of false alarms which drain time and resources
- Help protect themselves from arson
- Make sure they share fire safety information with their staff
