The three peaks challenge consists of climbing Ben Nevis, Scarfel pike, and Snowden in a gruelling twenty four hours. Sprinklers saved a Shropshire DIY store from burning to the ground in a midnight arson attack, a senior fire officer revealed today.

Oswestry's Homebase suffered minimal stock damage after the store's sprinkler system was triggered when fireraisers deliberately set fire to wooden garden furniture inside a temporary store last month. Arson is the most common cause of business fires costing the county a "staggering" £6.5 million per year, revealed the new Fire Crime Officer for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service.
