05 Chief Fire Officer Recruitment (Paragraph 3)

This report, attached marked 5, proposes a process for te Brigade Managers' Employment Panel (the Panel) to recruit a new Chief Fire Officer, following the receipt of the notice of retirement from the current Chief Fire Officer, John Redmond.  The report also provides an opportunity to review and amend the job description for this role.

Please note that the Panel must act upon the directions given to it by the Fire Authority at its meeting immediately preceding that of the Panel.  These directions may differ from the recommendations contained in report 5.
